Kelly’s Story
After Kelly’s daughter, Opal, received two life-saving brain surgeries at King’s College
Hospital, Kelly wanted to show her gratitude by undertaking several incredible walking
challenges and also volunteering. So far, she has raised over £4,000 for King’s College
Hospital Charity!
Today, Opal can scale a climbing frame, keep pace with her friends and enjoys life as a
child should.
The care, skill, and dedication of the staff gave Opal a future that she otherwise may not
have had. Kelly and her family will be forever grateful to King’s and the staff who saved
her daughter.
